Your Account Was Upgraded!

If you’re reading this page, your MuniciPay account was upgraded to our latest version! Don’t worry, we’ve put together a quick guide on getting started. We’ve worked hard to ensure the process is seamless and requires no changes from your office.

While it will look a bit different, we’ve transferred all of your account details, users, departments, items, reporting, and transactional history. This ensures that you can pick up right where you left off. If you get stuck, our customer service is always available to help.

 

What to Do First:

  • Authentication:
    • Your user name was changed to your e-mail address.
    • You should receive an e-mail with a secure password reset link. This is necessary to further enhance security on your account. If you didn’t receive an e-mail or the link has expired, please check your spam/junk folder or you can request a new link here.
    • Once logged in, you can setup two factor authentication using your e-mail and/or mobile phone for additional protection.
  • Updated Links: 
    • For Office Staff: https://my.municipay.com
    • For Online Payers: No change required at this time. Your old links will automatically redirect to the new version.
  • Get Familiar: We are working to complete a few short videos on how to access features and reporting that you may have previously used on the old version. Please check back shortly for those or contact customer service for help or training in the interim.

Some of the MANY Product Enhancements

We’ll begin sending monthly e-mails about the new and exciting features that you and your Payers can utilize, but here are just a few that are available immediately:

  • Midnight Batching: Your daily batches will sync to your local time zone. This ensures daily reports match your daily deposits.
  • Secure Wallets: Your Payers can securely store their payment methods to use for scheduling their payments or future one-time payments.
  • New Transactions Reporting: We’ve consolidated transactional history into a single and clean view that provides everything you need in a single place. All reports are fully exportable to Excel (including user input fields)!
  • ACH Rejects: All ACH returns will now be reported in our portal. Customers with an e-mail will be notified that their payment was rejected by their bank.
  • Pick a Quantity: Allow your Payers to increase / decrease item quantities with a single click instead of having to add them multiple times.
  • & More: Your Payers can schedule payments, setup recurring payments, setup auto payments, view payment history, receive SMS receipts / reminders, & much more!
